Hi! I'm Emily Reiter, the fine art photographer behind Anna Delores Photography. I got my first camera (a purple plastic 110 film Kodak) before I was 10 years old and I've been smitten ever since.
Founded in 2011 in Los Angeles, California, the name “Anna Delores” comes from my maternal great-grandmother (Anna) and paternal grandmother (Delores); I thought it appropriate to pair my passion for antique, vintage-style photos and ephemera with a name for my photography venture that honored my own heritage.
Anna Delores Photography is about seizing a moment, and from that moment I strive to produce a creatively-inspired image that appreciates an otherwise overlooked object or scene of beauty. My goal is to create photographs that make a connection with people, whether by recalling memories of a past trip abroad or summoning the human emotional connection to everyday objects. Anna Delores Photography produces fine art photographic prints that clients are excited and proud to display in their home or office.
Anna Delores Photography was recently showcased at 1650 Gallery in Echo Park, Los Angeles for the juried exhibition "Skyward," with an opening reception of March 31, 2012. Anna Delores was also recently showcased at RAW:Hollywood's event ACTIVATE at Key Club on the Sunset Strip in February 2012. I sell my fine art photography prints on Etsy, Zibbet, and my website (www.annadelores.com) and have also been featured in Muses Magazine, Papernstitch, a variety of indie artist and handmade community blogs, and produced the cover art for “Lizard Man” by David James Poissant, published by RopeWalk Press.
“I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn’t photograph them.”
